Recreation While Casa del Mar is ideal for relaxing on the beach we also offers recreation facilities to help you deserve to splash out on tonight’s dessert.


The Gym Equipped with a treadmill, step machines and seated bike as well a range of free weights and a multi gym, our facility is there for those who still like to work out while on holiday. The room is air conditioned and conveniently located within the Resort. For more serious gym workouts, we can recommend gyms in Kuah, just a short distance away.


Mountain Biking Casa del Mar has 18-speed mountain bikes for guests to use to explore the surrounding areas including rice paddies complete with buffalos and some local villages (called kampongs) just a few streets back from Casa del Mar. They are available free of charge from the front desk. Specially arranged bike tours with experienced guides can also be organized for you.


Langkawi Waters Water temperatures in the Andaman sea are warm year round and the beaches are wide, white and beautiful which is what makes Langkawi a favorite destination for relaxing on the beach, swimming and water sports. For those wishing to snorkel or dive, there are options within a 1 hour boat trip that offer improved visibility and marine life.


Sea Kayaks Can you imagine yourself sitting quietly listening to the birds and the sea, gently paddling down the ocean road to a secluded destination? If you have got that mental picture then we have the thing for you. Our New Zealand designed and made sea kayaks are sturdy, sable and built for two people. The kayaks have water proof compartments to put in that necessary picnic pack and cold beverage ice pack. A favorite journey is only a short 15 to 25 minutes paddle to the nearby Island of Rebak Kecil. Once there relax back and gaze at the Main Island of Langkawi over your sand clad feet. This activity is free of charge.


Learn to Sail Explore our bay in a newly purchased “getaway" 16 ft hobie Cat. Our staff will be more than pleased to show you the ropes, literally, and give you enough tuition to ensure you feel comfortable to sail. Before you know it, there will be just you and your partner under sail with your back to the wind and the sun above you watching the water whisk beneath you. Surcharge applies.


Island Drop offs With many beaches to choose between and 99 Islands to explore, MV Casa del Mar is suitable to drop a couple or a group of up to eight people off on a beach with a light picnic lunch.


Island Hopping Visiting four spectacular islands over 4 to 5 hours this package offers options for swimming, bird watching learning about the legend of the lake of the pregnant and a light lunch.
